Le Studio Building

Born in Europe in 1910, as a reaction to the winding curves of Art Nouveau, Art Déco became very popular, thanks to the International Art Deco Paris Exhibition held in 1925. Its decorative style (bow-windows, columns, mosaics, low-reliefs, slanted floors and railings) attracted a new bourgeoisie, in particular in the 16th arrondissement.
