Standing for a breakthrough in a renewed classicism that emphasized simple geometry, it established itself as a popular style and captivated audiences with decorative character<\/strong> (columns, railings, mosaics, bas-reliefs, ceramic coating, etc.) and appealing fa\u00e7ades<\/strong> (bow windows, balconies, tired levels). In Paris, Art Deco particularly appealed to a bourgeois clientele and experienced a remarkable success in the 16th arrondissement.
