Il sera vite \u00e9clips\u00e9 par l’art D\u00e9co, plus consensuel et s\u00e9duisant, et par le Mouvement moderne, v\u00e9ritable rupture dans la conception de l’architecture. L’ Art nouveau t\u00e9moigne du triomphe de la polychromie, de l’asym\u00e9trie et de la courbe. Les motifs floraux<\/strong> c\u00e9l\u00e8brent la vitalit\u00e9 de la nature tandis que les repr\u00e9sentations animali\u00e8res ou fantastiques y rivalisent de fantaisie. Et quelle audace et quelle libert\u00e9 lorsqu’on observe dans le d\u00e9tail le Castel B\u00e9ranger<\/strong>, l’h\u00f4tel Mezzara<\/strong> ou encore l’immeuble Jassed\u00e9, <\/strong>tous r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par l’architecte\u00a0Hector Guimard, <\/strong>c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour ses \u00e9dicules de m\u00e9tro. Quant \u00e0 eux, les architectes Joachim Richard<\/strong> et Henri Audiger<\/strong> r\u00e9alisent l’h\u00f4tel Dunois dans un style m\u00ealant Art nouveau et orientalisme.<\/p>\n
