The Grande Arche de la D\u00e9fense<\/p><\/div>\n

The largest business district<\/strong> in Europe with 3.600 companies, La D\u00e9fense\u2019s high-towers and buildings offer a thorough panorama into modern architecture. The district is built on an historical axis<\/strong>, starting from Louvre Palace and going toward the west, through Neuilly-sur-Seine and La D\u00e9fense. Started in 1960 with the CNIT building, <\/strong>the district includes today more than 70 tours<\/strong> over 50 meters high.<\/p>\n

We will explore the diversity of these constructions and comment the most interesting towers<\/strong> built through the decades : the Grande Arche, CNIT, Engie, Areva, TotalEnergie, L\u00e9gende, C\u0153ur D\u00e9fense, Carpe Diem, Residence Lorraine, Suez Environment. We will also comment the most recent high-towers such as D2 (2015), Saint Gobain (2019), Alto (2020), the Link (2025) and explain how they meet the latest eco-friendly and sustainable requirements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
