Moving from the Cluny roman baths<\/strong>, we encounter one of the first universities founded in the Middle Ages, one of the oldest in Europe. Within the Latin Quarter and the hill of Sainte Genevi\u00e8ve are to be found all of the training colleges for theologians and students<\/strong>. The most prestigious are the Sorbonne (now the Universit\u00e9 de la Sorbonne), the Coll\u00e8ge de France and the Coll\u00e8ge de Clermont. The small medieval streets of the Saint Severin district<\/strong> have retained much charm and lead to its Gothic church. The surrounding streets are named after ancient illustrators, booksellers and printers. We will conclude with two marvellous churches, Saint-Etienne du Mont<\/strong> and Sainte-Genevi\u00e8ve Abbey today known as the Panth\u00e9on<\/strong> of famous men and women.<\/p>\n
