Nothing testifies more to the splendor of 17th century aristocratic life<\/strong> than the Marais, with its mansions, stately homes and their beautiful courtyards and gardens.<\/p>\n

In the 17th century, the aristocracy had somptuous mansions built within courtyard and gardens, in particular around the famous Place des Vosges<\/strong> such as H\u00f4tel de Sully, H\u00f4tel Carnavalet, H\u00f4tel d’Albret, H\u00f4tel de Soubise, and H\u00f4tel Saint Aignan. The Saint Louis church will be part of our tour as well as monuments dating back from the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n
